1-Bridge Logistics has been working with One Girl Can to make a difference in the lives of girls that are far less fortunate than many. We chose to sponsor Angeline who is pursuing her BSC in Project Planning & Management. We sent her a picture of our team to provide some motivation on her journey; she is still smiling after seeing us so that is a good thing! The One Girl Can foundation allowed 1-Bridge to fulfill a goal of giving back in a way that was larger than we could achieve on our own. It is great to see Angeline progress as she aspires to achieve her dreams and change her life and that of her family.
Run for H2O
1-Bridge Logistics Corp sponsored the Run for H20 2018 run over the weekend at Riverfront Park in Vancouver. The entire event was able to raise over $207,000.00 to bring clean water solutions to families in Talaxcoc, Guatemala.
The team participated in the 50m toddler dash, 5km walk/run and the 10km run. A great day for an excellent cause impacting a remote village with clean drinking water.

A Ride to Conquer Cancer
Members of the 1-Bridge logistics team cycled 250 kms over two days and raised just over $11,000 to support cancer research
1-Bridge Logistics decided to get on our bikes, literally and raise money to support finding a cure for cancer. The drive and ambition was there, a key ingredient however was missing. The team was out of shape and needed bikes. Fortunately Tatoo Cycles was able to help with some of the bikes and custom wrap design. The owner is a high school friend and an accomplished cyclist. He took on the challenge of training our team to cycle 250+ kms over two days from Vancouver, BC to Seattle, WA. Training started in March and the ride was successfully completed in August.
The team has family and friends that have been impacted directly or indirectly by cancer and felt that something needed to be done about this vicious disease. 1,687 participants collectively raised $7.1 Million for The BC Cancer Foundation. 1-Bridge Logistics raised just over $11,000 and would like to thank everyone that donated money, time, knowledge and support.

One Girl Can
One of the critical success factors driving the 1-Bridge Logistics team forward is the opportunity to give back. Knowing that you are are working hard to take care of your family and to contribute to causes bigger than what you can solve on your own help fuel the fire to grow your business and stay hungry.
Going the extra mile for customers and carriers has enabled the team to contribute and help those less fortunate. A charity that 1-Bridge Logistics is passionate about is One Girl Can. 1-Bridge Logistics is very fortunate to support this cause which was introduced by a customer 1-Bridge Logistics provides transport and logistics services for.
Jumping into the shower is something that many people may take for granted; but not for the girls in Africa. They have 700 + girls sharing a single standing hose....outside and with no protection from the elements. Something as simple as a shower is life changing. One Girl Can provides the basics, empowers young girls with education and aims to break the cycle of poverty and gender discrimination.
1-Bridge Logistics recently attended an event hosted by One Girl Can and is proud to support Nancy in her quest for education. Participating in the live auction resulted in contributing funds to purchase one of the many showers needed at the school.
