Bookkeeper / Administrative Assitant

Remuneration - $25,000 annually – part time, 20 hours per week

Hire Date – flexibility to start immediately or by Jan 2016

Description of the Role

We are looking for a strong team member who knows their bookkeeping and administrative skills are key to helping our team achieve the best customer service. Being a self-starter who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump right in is a key trait. To be the best - we need the best.

Responsibilities

  • Data entry, filing, processing invoices, vendor processing and set up
  • Set up and maintain financial records and general ledgers
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books
  • Track and record corporate credit card activity and employee expenses
  • Interact with customers and carriers to fulfill accounts payable and account receivable duties
  • Record invoice payments and track receivables
  • Order catering for customers, arrange events and order office supplies
  • Other tasks and special projects as required from time to time

Preferred Qualifications

  • Accounting and/or related experience
  • 2+ years bookkeeping/office admin experience
